Manufacturer vs. Contractor’s Warranty

At AM Roofing, we provide some of the best brands for roofing materials. Manufacturers like CertainTeed, Owens Corning and Tamko all have individual warranty plans for any product that we sell. A manufacturer’s warranty covers any problems with the materials used for roofing. For example, if we install Owens Corning shingles and they start to crack immediately, that issue
could be covered by this warranty.

A contractor’s warranty, however, covers the installation process. At AM Roofing, we make sure to use the best practices to install your new roof, which is why we are proud to offer such a
comprehensive warranty. If you discover any damage or other issues with your roof related to our work, contact us, and we’ll make it right.

Limited Warranties

We don’t want to charge you for something you don’t want or need – this means that we want to provide you with the right warranty coverage for your home. If you don’t want to get an extended or full warranty on your roof, here are some other options we have available.

Parts Only – this warranty covers any materials we use to install your roof, including underlayments or ventilation pieces.

Labor Only – we cover the cost of labor to come out and fix your roof, regardless of the reason behind it. However, you are responsible for any parts or replacement material expenses.
Roof Workmanship Warranty – although we strive to provide the best installation practices, we understand that mistakes happen. If there is a problem with your new roof related to how we
installed it, this warranty covers the cost of repairs.
